We are on our way to WPPI 2008. At least, we are trying to be on our way to WPPI. Our flight from MSP airport was supposed to depart at 2:50pm but it is now 4:55pm and we have yet to board the plane. The big guy at the front desk states the reason for the very late departure is a mechanical problem which they are trying to fix. So here we sit, every few minutes the people at the desk give us another estimated time for departure. With Caribou and a bottle of juice in hand, we wait…and wait…and wait.
We will not make it to the opening ceremony tonight which begins at 6:00pm. We are both extremely disappointed to be missing out on Jerry Ghionis who will be speaking tonight at 7:15pm. Tear, sigh, sniff:( Hopefully the rest of the week will go a little more smoothly.
Here we sit, frustrated with the airline and more than ready to get on that plane and get to Las Vegas.
