Thanks for posting these, David. I tweeted your entry. It’s important for people to see lead poisoning in action. There are too many myths around that it’s not a real problem for wildlife.

If you want to see a little glimpse of eagles with lead poisoning, check out the show at about the 30 minute mark. Actually, watch the whole thing. It’s a good episode on one of the best shows on TV.

Unfortunately, the eagle died. As suspected, it have severe lead poisoning. It was one of 14 eagles who died in the past few weeks due to lead poisoning at The Raptor Center. RIP Harry the Eagle.
